Serving the Electronics

Nov 22, 2010

We are serving all fresh and live electronics from our garden :)

Today we tested and finished 40+  units SimpleOSD v2. These small circuits weigh only few grams and looking simple but they require  20+ hours  of time and 20 years electronic experience. Smelling good for us, i hope you will like them.
Look at the below for Stages of SimpleOSD boards.

After the cutting job

Bora is applying the solder cream with a stencil,  picking and placing all parts by hands.

We are programming all SimpleOSD processors with our USB-ASP AVR PROGRAMMER. It is a simple and perfect programmer for Atmel chips.

After few hours job we got tired but finally we were able to ready the “meal” to serve :)

Bon appetit!!! ;)

    Hey,
Are you planning to release the firmware code for this OSD ? Then it would be possible to interface it with ArduPilot.
I know it can be difficult for several reasons but just wanted to know if there were any plans.
    Thx

Yes we are planning to release an OpenSource OSD firmware for SimpleOSD boards. But we need much time for converting all codes and contents. Maybe we can do this before 2011 summer.
